While the global and U.S.-based podcast spaces are often criticized for being “oversaturated” there are places where podcasting is just beginning as a form of new media. Serbia is one of these places. With about 300 podcasts hailing from this country, podcasting is just gaining momentum there. This week, Aleksandra Bučko brings us a list of podcasts from her country that will expose you to the ways the Serbian podcasting industry is beginning to take form.

The podcasts Aleksandra recommends are in Serbian. Even if you do not know the language, we encourage you to read about these podcasts to gain insight into the topics they cover!

Aleksandra writes:

With this list of podcasts recommendations, I want to introduce you to a small but growing podcast scene in Serbia. With that in mind, I choose a little bit of everything: popular, satirical, entrepreneur, socio-political, and health-themed podcasts.

EarBuds is a weekly podcast recommendations newsletter and podcast. We bring subscribers and listeners a theme and five podcast episodes on that theme, and each week is curated by a different person. So, you never have to worry about where you’ll find your next favorite podcast. From time to time, we also put out a mid-week list on our blog. We use these mini-lists as a way of putting out topical content for our content partners and podcast friends!
